The world of connection technology has made considerable progress in recent years, with innovative materials such as technical ceramics making a decisive contribution. Technical ceramics have many advantages over conventional materials and special properties that enable innovative applications.
Electromobility is on the rise for many good reasons and is playing an increasingly important role in road traffic. Electric cars are more environmentally friendly and quieter than conventional combustion engines, but they also place new demands on the materials used. Due to their special properties, technical ceramics are a much-used material in e-mobility. In this article we present some possible applications of technical ceramics in electric cars and show the advantages for the automotive industry.
Global warming and the energy crisis are pushing the expansion of wind power plants. Here, technical ceramics are an important factor, as the material is used in various ways and contributes significantly to the efficiency and performance of green power plants. We give an overview of the different application possibilities and show how the material, which has been used by humans for thousands of years, and modern technology go hand in hand.

After a break due to corona, it was time again this year and we made our way to Hannover at the end of May.
